North of Robertsdale, the branch line terminates at Woodvale. With the demand for lumber, saw dust, and the raw materials for paper products generated by the sawmill at Middletown, a logging camp was opened in the forest beyond the coal mines at Robertsdale. Locomotives switching either the mine or logging camp are serviced here and will occasionally lay over.
